Lighthouse Christian Academy

I am looking for feedback regarding PTF meetings.  Is there a time of day, or day of the week that works best for most of you?  Morning, After-school, evening? 

Would child care be helpful?

Does anyone have any ideas they would like to see implemented this year?

Suggestions?

Best for me would be after dinner - 6-7pm any day.

I will be posting the date for our first meeting some time this week,  just trying to finalize some details.

Some goals for the year....unique fundraising choices instead of the  (fill in the _____ )sale.

Outreach into the community and strengthening our school community through fellowship.

We will need volunteers for the follwing tasks:

Hospitality-  preparing/providing refreshment at various events, including Grandparents Day, Thanksgiving, Open House, Walk A thon, Teacher appreciation  (no one person is required to be at every event- but if you are available to help in this way please let me know)

Auction committee- two auctions will be held this year by the school not the PTF specifically but we will need volunteers to collect donations and assist in auction orgainizing

Outreach- we as a regional school need to be more present in area churches and community organizations, this group of people will assist in reaching out this way in addition to posting flyers on community bulletin  boards and requesting space in church bulletins

I am sure that there are many other volunteer opportunities, we are still looking for a Secretary & Vice President for the PTF....please let me know if you are interested in helping in any way.  If you have questions, feel free to email me pamperednicole@gmail.com.
